Is a drawn line the border between intangibles?
Perhaps life is a transition. Perhaps death might be a transition as well.
Both of them being taken by a circle, being guided by the direction of the line.
There is no life without death and no death without life.
They belong to each other.
One and the other are complementary colors, entering within a circle.
A state of transition, where both are needed for complementation.
Printmaking, drawing and painting are the visual languages I use through my work.
I like to feel the materialized mediums through my hands and the direction of the line and it's movement,
making it's own way through the grounds on distinct surfaces.
I question the drawn lines that geographically have been imposed on us.
Boundaries that create divisions, establishing a differentiation between the other and myself.
Forgetting that it is only through the other that we can recognize ourselves.
My art practice questions sociopolitical matters and the intangible beliefs across cultures
surrounding the concept of death and after life.
